简 介
比尔和凯特是一对夫妻，结婚多年的他们有一个儿子。在外人看来，这是一对典型的中产阶级家庭，过着幸福、宁静的生活。可是，目前他们俩却被一桩突如其来的变故搅得措手不及－－他们的儿子竟然成为了一桩校园枪击案的主犯。伴随着这则消息一起来到比尔和凯特生活里的还有他们岌岌可危的婚姻以及蜂拥而至的媒体。
现在，比尔和凯特要鼓足勇气互相面对对方，认真去了解自己的孩子以及应付媒体的穷追猛打的各种问题。摆在他们面前的是十几年婚姻中积累下来的问题，这既是危机，又是契机。如果他们没有办法从互相指责和悲痛中走出来，那么这个家庭就会瓦解；如果他们能正视自己的过往、悔恨、怒火并承担起相应的责任的话，那么他们还会找到生活的希望，并最终相互搀扶着生活下去。
